Your writing and obvious love of the craft is beautiful. I confess I don't usually listen to music of the genre you create, but I've been repeatedly listening to your two CDs and I seriously love the music. I find the lyrics to be passionate, emotional and fearlessly revealing. They can also be playful and humorous. I've been taking note of the interesting chord changes in your songs as well. Your compositions, Karyn, sound carefully cultivated and lovingly nurtured. It is your voice though, that gives me shivers. Lofty soaring melodies and harmonies, often beautifully interwoven. Beautiful pitch, timbre and control. I really don't know what you call it. I'll call it magical. You have a gift, and I'm really glad you're sharing it!
